Многим из нас известно выражение: «Ты что, белены объелся?» - так обращались к человеку неуравновешенному, который вел себя неадекватно. И удивительного здесь ничего нет, ведь эта белена может натворить много бед.
Итак, белена черная. Ее действие на человеческий организм вызывают алкалоиды тропана. Они тормозят секрецию слез, слюны, слизи, желудочного сока, уменьшают спазмы гладких мышц, кишечника, желчно- и мочевыводящих путей, бронхов, оказывает седативное действие. Особенно такой алкалоид, как скополамин.
Внутренне белену, как черную, так и бледную, используют как противоспазматическое, болеутоляющее и успокаивающее средство при заболевании желудочно-кишечного тракта. Внешне - обезболивающее средство при невралгии, миозитах. В гинекологической практике это растение применяли в лечении дисменореи и для уменьшения болезненных спазмов гладких мышц шейки матки, прямой кишки, мочеиспускательного канала и влагалища.
В народной медицине белену использовали в лечении дизентерии, а также Виттовой болезни (нервное заболевание, в результате которого движения человека становятся судорожными, некоординированными, мышцы дергаются, непроизвольные гримасы).
Есть такой препарат (порошок) - астматол, для курения от астмы, в состав которого входит белена. В народной медицине семена белены курили, дым набирали в рот и держали некоторое время, чтобы устранить зубную боль. Делали ванны с распаренными ветвями от отеков рук, ног. Траву, настоянную на водке, использовали, как натирание при ревматизме. Свежие листья служили примесью к болеутоляющему средству. Народная медицина предупреждает, что растение очень ядовито. И поэтому внутренне ее нельзя применять!
Если ее принимать внутрь, то это приводит к нервным нападениям и может вызвать смерть.
В качестве внешнего средства применяют масляный экстракт белены, состоящий из смеси: высушенных листьев белены, спирта, раствора аммиака и подсолнечного масла. Если в виде растираний применяют масла белены, то обязательно добавляют флороформ. Масла белены - 10 частей, флороформа - 5 частей. Припарки из белены устраняют боль в животе. Дым зерна белены вызывает состояние чрезвычайного возбуждения, ощущения невесомости и гнева. Именно это состояние и побуждает обратиться к человеку: «Ты что, белены объелся?»
Подчеркиваю - растение очень ядовито. Острое отравление беленой характеризуется возбуждением, сухостью и покраснением лица, шеи, охрипшим голосом, частым пульсом, головной болью и жаждой. Первая помощь пострадавшему - немедленно промыть желудок водой с активированным углем.
Но лучше быть осторожным и помнить о ядовитости растения, которое называется белена.
